For decades and decades, there has been myths about a deadly, furious, and dangerous monster, Yeti, that roam snow regions and preys on campers and hikers. These myths are true. There has been a few encounters with it, many false, others real. The creature is called The Abominable snowman (also called the Yeti) is a close relative to Bigfoot. This big, hairy creature lives in snow regions, like the Himalayas, and there is very little record to it. No body has seen it clearly, up close in person. But, however, I am here to give rare, exclusive information about the abominable snowman, the history of this creature, and how you can stop them from becoming extinct. My website will also include very rare pictures of this creature and how they are similar and different from humans. Although you may never meet one, you will get the inside look on this fascinating creature, the abominable snowman.
*Appearence
The abominable snowman is generally six to eight feet tall, but can be bigger, and completely covered in thick, long, dark hair to keep them warm, like a bear. They live mostly in the Himalayas where there is a lot of snow and it is cold, therefore they need a lot of fur. It is also a close relative of Bigfoot (or Sasquatch). The abominable snowman has razer sharp, 5 inches long claws that can pretty much rip through anything. The creature's figure is very much like a ape and a human, although they are much bigger. The abominable snowman walks slightly hunched over on two feet, like us, and also carries prey or anything else with two arms. Their 42 teeth resembles their claws; extremly sharp and deadly. The abominable snowman also has a small nose and ears, about human sized, that is also covered in fur.
*Habitat
The abominable snowman generally lives in the Himalayas. This extreme, cold, and dangerous moutainous area has only has an iota (very small) local population. The abominable snowman will come across hikers, scientists, or campers in this snow region. They usually make their "home" or "nest" in huge moutains near or in dark caves. During the day, they stay in their home and venture out at night. when in their home, the abominable snowman hides behind huge rocks they place to surround their home. Scientists think they do this so their prey thinks nothing is there. Abominable snowman homes' are rarely seen by humans, but are believed to be spread out through out the Himalayas. They never live together, and probably enjoy life in this snow region.
*Adaptations, Behaviors, and Prey
Although abominable snowman never travel in packs, they communicate to nearby ones to alert of prey. To alert neighbors of prey, the abominable snowman makes a deep growling sound in the back of their throats that comes out of their mouth much higher, alomst like a deep scream. This tells others there is some sort of prey near by. The abominable snowman is nocturnal, so it comes out at night and stays hidden during the day. When they come out at night, they are able to go far, miles away from their home, and still find it in the morning. The abominable snowman uses its spectacular senses to track prey and find their way home. They also have great night vision. Some of their prey includes rabbits, artic fox, artic wolf, yak, if they are lucky, humans, and sometimes plants. The abominable snowman will go and track prey, but they will sometimes wait for the victim to come to them. They will hang around the outskirts of villages nearby (or far away) and wait for someone (adult or child) to venture out. The abominable snowman uses many attacking skills to take down prey. You would never want to come across one of these scarey creatures!
